Teeth Whitening
Let Defined Smiles make your smile brighter! We use the Beyond II Ultra Whitening Accelerator which uses high intensity LED light coupled with ultrasound technology. The light is combined with Fern Whitening 25% active HP/CP (hydrogen peroxide/carbamide peroxide) or Max Beyond 35% straight HP gel, which can bring your smile 4-20 shades whiter! Fern Whitening gel is made in Canada and is vegan, kosher, cruelty free, gluten free, nut free and alcohol free. For in office whitening we use a special barrier around the gums and areas of recession that could be more sensitive. We will apply post treatment sensitivity gel but typically sensitivity lasts no longer than a few hours, if any. It is recommended to have teeth whitening done within 2-3 weeks after a cleaning as tartar may need to be removed before whitening for best results.
We also offer take home Deluxe whitening kits that come with an LED blue light, upper and lower trays, and 3 tubes of whitening gel which is great for post in-office whitening touch ups or as an initial treatment.
In-office whitening can be performed on ages 16 and over. Under age 18 requires parental consent and only 25% HP/CP gel is used.
