Benefit Plans
Defined smiles can submit electronically to most major benefit plans and can submit to up to 2 plans to help cover treatment. For those that can't accept electronic billing we can submit manually.
It is recommended that you check with your benefit plan to know what your coverage is before your appointment. Some questions to ask are:
" How often am I covered for an exam?"
" How often can I get x-rays?"
" How many units of scaling am I covered for?"
" How many units of polish am I covered for?"
" How many fluoride treatments am I covered for?"

If not submitting to a benefit plan, we kindly ask that payment is made after services are rendered.

Payment forms accepted are e-transfer, debit and credit card.
Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

Defined Smiles is happy to offer the CDCP to those who are eligible. We ask that you let us know prior to the appointment so we can pre-determine your eligibility and what services you are covered for.
The CDCP unfortunately doesn't cover the full amount of the fee guide so there will be a small balance at the end of your appointment and can provide an estimate for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
